What is your learning style?

Learning styles describe how we take in information. Everyone has their favourite and most effective. However, training is most beneficial when we try and cover all different styles in a session. This is what we try to do to give everyone the best chance of retaining and applying the vital information and skills we share.

Visual: Visual learners prefer to see information presented in diagrams, charts, graphs, and other visual aids. They benefit from color coding, mind maps, and videos.
Auditory: Auditory learners learn best through listening. They prefer spoken explanations, lectures, discussions, and podcasts. They often benefit from reading aloud and using mnemonic devices.
Kinesthetic/Tactile: Kinesthetic learners learn best through hands-on experiences and physical activities. They prefer to touch, move, and interact with objects. They learn through doing and benefit from experiments, role-playing, and simulations.
Reading/Writing: Reading/writing learners learn best through written words. They prefer to read and write information, take notes, and study written materials such as textbooks, articles, and essays. They often benefit from making outlines and summarizing information in their own words.
These are general categories, and many people may have a combination of these learning styles.
