WEBINARS AND TRAVEL PROBLEMS

WEBINARS AND TRAVEL PROBLEMS

Very much a week of contrasts so far…

The focus of the next few weeks are a series of Windows 10 webinars delivered via Webex, from home. Webinars are a slightly unusual environment for a normally classroom based trainer, not the same connection to the delegates that you get from face-to-face training. For this reason I had put off doing this type of training for a while but find that with a little bit of planning and other techniques you can still have an engaging session. The other advantage of this type of work was highlighted yesterday with one of those journey’s that once it goes slightly wrong, it then goes very wrong! A 4 hour duration for what should have been just over 2 hours left me a little frazzled by the end of the day. This was a shame as it had been a great day of Microsoft Project training with a really nice group who work in the events industry. What do you think of online training sessions?
